Dimitri is a character in Bioshock 4.
Life in Russia
Dimitri was born in Stalingrad, Russia, in 1952. Being born during the Cold War, Dimitri's family suffered much from the constant strain for superiority between the Russian and American race. This led him to despise the American race, leading him into volunteer labor, and permanently harming is family bond. When he grew up, by the time he was 23, he was sick of Russia and was planning to move to Canada. He convinced one of his dearest and closest friends, Viktor, to come with him and start a new life, but alas, it was not meant to be. The plane went down in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, killing Viktor, and Dimitri was alone. Luckily, his section of the plane crashed into an underwater city, and he was in a strange and unfamiliar environment, and he wanted out.
Dimitri is a main character in Bioshock 4 who guides the protagonist throoughout the majority of the levels. Little is known sbout him so far, but he will have a larger impact on the story a the more the player progresses.
- Dimitri is based on Dimitri Petrenko for Call od Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
- Dimitri is one of the few characters to never have his last name revealed.
- Since it is stated the Dimitri is Russian and despises Americans, this means that Dimitri may be the first communist in Rapture.
