Ken Levine at E3 2011

In an interview with IGN, BioShock creator stated that the upcoming BioShock game for PlayStation Vita will not just be a rehash of the original BioShock or BioShock Infinite, but something completely new that will be "strange and surprising to people." Sounds interesting - I wonder what ideas for other BioShock settings they might have. Any speculation?

He also stated that there are no current plans to bring the BioShock series to Nintendo's new platform, Wii U. , "I'm not saying it can't happen, but we have no plans to do any games for that platform."

Of course, he also discussed the upcoming BioShock Infinite, including its PlayStation Move functionality, stating that it will be totally optional to the gameplay experience "my hope is that we'll succeed in the experiment and people will like it. But if they don't like it, they'll never know it's there. And that's cool."
