In an interview with IGN, BioShock creator stated that the upcoming BioShock game for PlayStation Vita will not just be a rehash of the original BioShock or BioShock Infinite, but something completely new that will be "strange and surprising to people." Sounds interesting - I wonder what ideas for other BioShock settings they might have. Any speculation?
He also stated that there are no current plans to bring the BioShock series to Nintendo's new platform, Wii U. , "I'm not saying it can't happen, but we have no plans to do any games for that platform."

BioShock Infinite, a new installment in the BioShock series from Irrational Games, has been announced and is slated for a 2012 release.
The game is set in 1912 and based on the floating city in the sky, Columbia, where you assume the role of Booker DeWitt, a disgraced Pinkerton agent. You have been given the job of finding a woman named Elizabeth in Columbia.
