Um, where is this guy mentioned? -§tigma-231powerful phrase {τalk}{¢ont} 16:15, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

The audio diary called Enrage Trial in Medical Pavillion. He's the British guy speaking in the background.--Ant423 05:52, January 2, 2010 (UTC)Ant423

Should the novels info be included?[]

A lot of the information from the BioShock: Rapture novel about Wallace is clearly wrong, since he was experimented on for FF and a newspaper clipping in the Silver Fin Restaurant states that enrage was released in 1958, before the book claims he was arrested.

Is there any real point in including this info since in contradicts all other informations from the actual games? Night at the Kashmir (talk) 22:02, January 14, 2015 (UTC)

We could mention that in a behind the scenes section I guess. Pauolo (talk) 22:10, January 14, 2015 (UTC)

That seems unecessary.
We owe it to the visitors of this site to include all pertinent information regarding the BioShock series; unfortuneately, this includes BioShock: Rapture even if it isn't canon. The dividing bars sufficiently quardon off the novel information so no one would confuse it with the actual game information.
Removing the info from the book where he's a major character or adding a footnote like that in the "Behind the Scenes" just makes us look like a bunch of petty fanboys trashing the book (the book does a suffiecient enough job trashing itself). Either action hurts our credibility, we just need to remember that the novel is noncanon.

But if the book really isn't canon then why are we including it? It's basically fanfiction and I dont think refusing to add the info really hurts are credibility or makes us 'a bunch of petty fanboys'. I do admit that I liked some parts of the novel but a lot of it just wasn't well thought out, relied too heavily on audio diaries, or just completely ignore facts from the game. Night at the Kashmir (talk) 21:09, January 15, 2015 (UTC)
We do use the novel template to show that it isn't necessary canon, so keeping it as it is on the page doesn't hurt. Pauolo (talk) 21:14, January 15, 2015 (UTC)

And once again, we're the BioShock Wiki. We include everything: the original game, it's sequels, it's spinoffs, the downloadable content, the "only tangentially" canon game, the promotional campaigns, the borad games, the other book, etc. It's our duty and our pleasure to cover all the bases.
