It says in this interview: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2010/02/09/bioshock-a-video-game-based-on-ayn-rands-philosophy-gets-a-sequel/tab/article/ that "he’s brutally homophobic and fixed on masculinity on the surface. But if you hit him with the hypnotize plasmid, [a game feature] that allows you to control him, he mutters about how handsome you are in your suit. You get this side that he tries to protect. He becomes a monster in fear of being found out." Should this be added to the main page? Saria 03:39, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Reminds me of Heavy Weapons Guy from Tf2 65.51.58.1 05:04, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Same here. Might be worth a mention. Stormfin 22:00, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
Just because it reminds you of some other game doesn't mean it's that worth mention. Maybe if they directly said they based a character off something, but this is just an opinion of the general idea of a big hulking man. There have been thousands upon thousands of these types of guys in everything, you could say the same for things like the tank in L4D or something. ~ɠą§ɔîéɳčę { talk } 22:12, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
I'm thinking he's like Bane from the Batman mythos, both used a chemical to turn into a large monster full of rage, strength and endurance, main differences are Bane goes back to normal if the supply is cut off and the Brute Splicers are much smaller (although that might be a perception fault because Big Daddys are a little larger than normal humans) and it appears to be permanent (unless someone switches it for something else in a gene bank). I'd hate to think what would happen if a woman used that formula!
But he sounded Russian. Well, sorta. Stormfin 16:37, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
No, they have a cockney accent, which is spoken mainly in the east end of London, England (Bill McDonagh has the same accent).Vae Infectus 04:06, March 27, 2010 (UTC)
