Survival of the Fittest is the basic free-for-all deathmatch game mode of BioShock 2 Multiplayer and a minimum of 6 players are needed to start a public match. In this mode, each player is tasked with killing all other players as often as possible. The game ends either after a player gets 20 kills, or after 15 minutes, whichever occurs first.
