Optimized Eugenics is the main testing and researching facility of Point Prometheus. It was previously known as Fontaine Futuristics Genetic Research Dpt. before Andrew Ryan nationalized Fontaine Futuristics.

The old signs and painted doors are stored in the closet near the entrance. This facility has its own backup generator, which is wisely placed due to the amount of electrical equipment present in this area. Like the Failsafe Armored Escorts, people had to enter through decontamination chambers.

The candidates intended to go through the Big Daddy program were kept in the Test Subject Storage. Eugenics Analysis and Plasmid Prototyping were the facilities where the researching was done, with Eugenics Analysis being used for the creation and researching of Gene Tonics. Live Subject Testing was used to test the effects of Plasmids and Gene Tonics or to test the people in the Big Daddy program. At some point, something went wrong and a vat was broken. Inside the Live Subject Control room, researchers monitored and controlled the test subjects. This area also contains the voicebox modification prototype used in the manufacturing of Big Daddies, which was later used by Jack when he was forced to disguise himself as a Big Daddy to follow Fontaine into the Proving Grounds (a process that Fontaine claimed was irreversible).

This facility was equally as important as Failsafe Armored Escorts. It too has a Security Monitoring Room, although no spare Security Bots are present.
