Jasmine Jolene

Mary-Catherine "Jasmine" Jolene, whose corpse you find in a bed behind the stage at Eve's Garden in Fort Frolic, is the biological mother of Jack. She was Andrew Ryan's mistress, and when she became pregnant by Ryan, Frank Fontaine purchased the embryo using Bridgette Tenenbaum as his agent. Jasmine didn't seem to know of Fontaine's involvement. Ryan kills Jasmine after discovering the arrangement.
When Jack goes round the back of the bar in Fort Frolic, he sees a door and shadows of Andrew Ryan and Jasmine and she is pleading with him. This is a flashback to when he had murdered her. She was murdered with a lead pipe, with Ryan's pipe and shoes still present at the scene. After this horrific event, Ryan went to the toilet to clean himself up and left.
