In the gloaming hours of July 6, 1912, Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth arrive in Soldier's Field. Access via the ground floor has been locked. Two maintenance workers discuss the actions of the Vox Populi by one of the barred gates, but abruptly stop when they notice Booker and Elizabeth nearby. The second floor balconies can be easily reached via the Freight Hooks by the door or the Sky-Line. However, the barred door's entrance is powered by the unstable Shock Jockey. Booker and Elizabeth must travel to the Hall of Heroes to locate the Vigor.

After returning, Main Street now lies silent and empty. In the lull, Booker can open the door to reveal a comfortably furnished side room. A lockpick sits on the side table with a bottle of Salts on the larger dining table with fresh flowers. However, the painting on the wall is pockmarked with bullet holes. The bedroom reveals a different story. Furniture is knocked about with blood smeared against the floors and walls. Two Vox Populi agents appear to have been brutally beaten and interrogated. Both sport bullet holes in their skulls.

As indicated by the "P" written in blood and the Voxophone on the bed, this was Preston E. Downs' room. The message on the wall is left for Daisy Fitzroy in retaliation for the attempted Vox ambush in his sleep.

Behind the Scenes

  • The Voxophone "Calling You Out" indicates that one of the Vox agents was female, as one can clearly hear a woman scream, while the two Vox bodies found in the room are both male.
