ShockJockey

Game model for Jockey Splicers by Peter Anderson.

Jockey Splicers are a special type of Splicer that were set to appear in BioShock Infinite's downloadable content, Burial at Sea - Episode 2, but were removed from the final version of the game. These enemies were to have consumed large quantities of the drinkable Plasmid Shock Jockey, and in doing so had suffered severe deformities.

Behind the Scenes[]

  • An enemy being mutated by overuse of Shock Jockey was originally intended to appear in BioShock Infinite as one of the Vigor Junkies. Even though not appearing for the final version of the game, a character model can be found in the game files, which was later adapted for Burial at Sea as the Frosty Splicer. Also, Cornelius Slate makes heavy use of Shock Jockey during the main game's story, and has blue-purple crystal shards sticking out of his head due to his overuse of the Vigor.
