Security Evasion

Security Evasion is a Gene Tonic that makes it easier for the player to evade Security Devices.

BioShock

In BioShock all versions of this tonic may be used together for an increased effect.

Security Evasion “ Has a rival faction set up Security Cameras and Turrets where you need to go? Security Evasion adjusts the thermal signature of your epidermal layer, confusing cameras and turrets and delaying their response. ” Effect: Security Cameras and Turrets take an extra two seconds to see the player. Location: On the ground in the Waterfall Grotto of Arcadia (triggered by an event). Can also be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens in Fort Frolic and Hephaestus. Cost: 20 ADAM

Security Evasion 2 “ Why let them know where you've been lately? The latest version of Security Evasion lets you bypass any Security Camera or Turrets with ease. ” Effect: Security Cameras and Turrets take an extra four seconds to see the user. Location: Beside an Audio Diary on the desk in Lower Heat Loss Monitoring in Hephaestus. Can also be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens in levels from Olympus Heights to Point Prometheus. Cost: 50 ADAM

Security Evasion “ Tired of getting bushwhacked by bots and turrets? Equip Security Evasion for a little extra time to get out of their sight. ” Effect: Security Cameras and Turrets take longer to see the user. Location: Can be purchased at Gatherer's Gardens in all levels from Siren Alley onward. Cost: 45 ADAM

BioShock 2 Multiplayer

Security Evasion “ DECREASES the accuracy of enemy TURRETS on you. ” Effect: Decreases the accuracy of enemy Turrets firing at the player. Rank: Obtained at Rank 3.
