Best Friend Pet Food is a brand of canned pet food that existed in Rapture before its downfall. Posters for the pet food can be seen in the Farmer's Market. Empty cans of this brand can be found all around Apollo Square, most likely used as food by its desperate Splicers. The can is a purple color with a dog on the label.

Behind the Scenes

• The brand's ad is a modified image from a crate label for Four Friends Tomatoes.
• The small text on the can is reused from Fussy Cat Cat Food, which describes the ingredients, as well as a comedic warning for the possibility of containing peanuts, which cats dislike. The text is also used for Arcadia Corn. The text read: "soy bean extract, sulfer dioxide, green dye #54, potato skins, orange peels random road kill, orange dye #32. Caution: May contain peanut or peanut products. Some cats do not like peanuts and may cause your cat to become extra fussy. If cat becomes fussy, induce vomiting until peanut butter hairball is removed or else call a veterinarian."
