Plasmid Traps are the combination of Cyclone Trap or Geyser Trap and another Plasmid in BioShock 2 or BioShock 2 Multiplayer. Although costlier in EVE than the standard Cyclone/Geyser, Plasmid Traps are more effective and possess unique powers pertaining to the Plasmid the Trap is infused with. Below is the list of known Traps.
Combinations[]
BioShock 2[]
- Double Trap: Requires Cyclone Trap. This Plasmid Trap strengthens the usual effects of Cyclone Trap.
- Decoy Trap: Requires Decoy. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, attracts any nearby enemies towards it.
- Electric Trap: Requires Electro Bolt. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, shocks the victim.
- Fire Trap: Requires Incinerate!. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, ignites the victim.
- Hypnotic Trap: Requires Hypnotize. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, will cause the enemy to become hypnotized upon falling.
- Ice Trap: Requires Winter Blast. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, freezes the victim.
- Insect Trap: Requires Insect Swarm. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, sets a hive of live hornets onto the victim.
- Security Trap: Requires Security Command. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, sets all Security Devices in the area on the victim.
- Telekinetic Trap: Requires Telekinesis. This Plasmid Trap, in addition to its standard effects, will cause the enemy to levitate in the air for a short period of time.
BioShock 2 Multiplayer[]
- Electric Trap: Requires Geyser Trap and Electro Bolt. This trap will make it deal added electrical damage.
