The Signal Beacon is a plot item in the BioShock 2 downloadable content Minerva's Den. Subject Sigma must retrieve it from a sunken Bathysphere at the Machine Graveyard outside Operations to disrupt the signal for torpedoes launched by Sofia Lamb. Once Sigma has entered Reed Wahl's office in the Programming Wing, he must find the code to unlock the secret area behind the bookcase to gain access to the Master Input Console used to hack the Signal Beacon.
