Fontaine's got us out there ladling soup for the purpose of building an army — not to share the milk of human kindness.
― Johnny Demarco[src]

Johnny Demarco is a citizen of Rapture and employee of Frank Fontaine's. He was eventually imprisoned in Fontaine's with the rest of Atlas' followers.

History[]

In the prison, Demarco allied with Atlas and was ordered to distribute the food supplies stored in the Manta Ray Lounge to the Splicers, in order to gain support and build an army. He was in the middle of recording an Audio Diary addressed to his friend Louie when some Splicers broke down the barricade and killed all those inside, presumably so they could steal the supplies for themselves.[1]

Navigating to the Manta Ray Lounge, Elizabeth will find Demarco's corpse near the counter in the Main Lounge's Reception. Demarco was shot by the Splicers, fell over a plant and now rests next to his diary.

Behind the Scenes[]

  • In his audio diary; C'est La Vie, he refers to Atlas as Fontaine, indicating that he was one of Atlas' close followers who knew of his true identity, or it was just a mistake made by the developers.
