Medical Expert is a Gene Tonic in BioShock and BioShock 2 which affects the way the player uses First Aid Kits.

In BioShock all versions of this tonic can be equipped together for an increased effect.

Effect: First Aid Kits to give an extra 20% Health when used. (+30) Location: Can be found in on the ground of the Lower Wharf in Neptune's Bounty. It can also be purchased at a Gatherer's Garden in levels from Arcadia to Fort Frolic. Cost: 20 ADAM  |

Effect: First Aid Kits to give an extra 40% Health when used. (+60) Location: Reward for completing Sander Cohen's masterpiece in Fort Frolic. Can also be purchased in levels from Hephaestus to Apollo Square. Cost: 40 ADAM |

In Worlds of Hurt, Medical Expert 2 can be bought at the Gatherer's Garden in the central hub for 50 ADAM.

Medical Expert 3
Effect: First Aid Kits to give an extra 60% Health when used. (+90) Location: Near the toilets in Dr. Suchong's Free Clinic in Apollo Square. Can also be purchased in Point Prometheus. Cost: 60 ADAM |
BioShock 2[]
Medical Expert is also a Tonic available to the player in BioShock 2, but it has a very different effect. Instead of making First Aid Kits more effective, it increases the carry capacity by one. When carrying 6 First Aid kits, the player can choose to swap this tonic for another without dumping the extra First Aid kit. The same goes for EVE Expert, which affects EVE Hypos and their capacity.
