Cult of Rapture

The Cult of Rapture (abbreviated CoR) is the official site set up for BioShock.

It was established in early 2007 and included and served as a hub of information for the BioShock fan community, The Cult of Rapture also included a link to 2K forums where the community would meet and discuss the game, over time the forum grew from three standard boards (Off Topic, General Game Discussion and Questions for the Team) to include two more (In-Game and Technical Issues)

Today many of the older forum fans including the original moderators have left for either other forums or simply altogether, this is primarily due to the large number of new fans that joined the board a month before the games launch which included a large number of spammers and other undesirable members causing the mass exodus.

It has seen less activity due to the launch of the game and lack of new information on the game that can come out, but it is still maintained by Elizabeth Tobey the Community Manager for 2K games who has been reported as having exemplary skills in interacting and managing members.
