"There is something more powerful than each of us, a combination of our efforts, a Great Chain of industry that unites us. But it is only when we struggle in our own interest that the chain pulls society in the right direction..." - Andrew Ryan
The Columbia Science Authority is the primary scientific research group in the city of Columbia, and was under the direction of Rosalind and Robert Lutece. Their laboratories can be seen in various locations: Monument Tower, Lutece Labs, Comstock House and the Imprinting Studies department at Fink Manufacturing. They did work for both Jeremiah Fink and Comstock. Their official symbol is a key with a lightning bolt, which is a reference to the famous "kite and key" experiment purportedly performed by Benjamin Franklin.
