Columbia was a city suspended in the clouds through a combination of "quantum levitation", and giant blimps and balloons. Many different peoples came to Columbia for its maiden launch and others made the pilgrimage later. However, after a series of mysterious events, the city disappeared into the clouds with the residents still aboard.
